I am a multi-disciplinary artist and art teacher based in Ghana. I hold masters in Graphic technology (Takoradi Technical University), Bachelor of arts in education (University oo education, Winneba) and Higher Diploma in Graphics design (Takoradi Technical University) all in Ghana. I belong to Takoradi Technical University intellectual club that research and discuss contemporary art issues and i am part of the executives member of Kamina artist and researchers platform (KARP) in Togo. I am also the head of art department at Mpohor Senior High School.
My practice spans from painting, printmaking designing, installation, sculpture, performance and nature art, which demonstrates a commitment to symbolism using figurative silhouette patterns, communication, societal preservation and recycling of material art-making practices. My work envisions a future where both indigenous and contemporary practices in society are nurture to thrive, drawing on the rich heritage of African symbols and through the use of various, often combined media and techniques, I encourage my audience to think critically. My work appeals to a sense of awareness and aims to create interest and awareness of the protection of our natural world.
