The 2005 Year Group of Fijai Secondary School is a vibrant network of alumni who graduated together in 2005, bound by shared memories, experiences, and a commitment to excellence.
Representing a global community, members of this group are distinguished professionals in various fields, united by a desire to stay connected, contribute to their alma mater, and make a positive impact in their communities.
In celebration of this significant milestone, FOSA 2005 is proud to present its Legacy Project — the construction of a Multipurpose Sports Complex for Fijai Secondary School and the wider Sekondi-Takoradi community. This state-of-the-art facility is designed to be a hub for sports, teamwork, and holistic youth development, providing opportunities for generations to come.
This project embodies our core values of unity, excellence, and community service. It reflects our commitment to giving back to the school that shaped us and to creating a lasting impact on the next generation of leaders.
We invite all Young Souls, friends, and partners to be part of this legacy. Your support and contribution will help us bring this vision to life. Join us as we celebrate 20 years of purpose and give back to our beloved alma mater — because together, Young Souls, So Strong!

A Warm Welcome from the Chairman of FOSA 2005
Dear fellow Young Souls,
It is with a deep sense of honour and responsibility that I welcome you to the official online home of the Fijai Old Students Association, 2005 Year Group (FOSA 2005). This digital space is more than a website; it is a gathering place for our vibrant global community, a place to reconnect, celebrate our shared journey, and forge a path towards a greater collective purpose.
We are the 2005 Year Group of Fijai Secondary School, bound not only by the memories of our formative years but also by the enduring values of our alma mater. Our school's name, "Fijai," from the native dialect "Afei Gyae Me," means "Now, leave me alone”, a powerful declaration of resilience and self-determination. Together with our school's motto, Ad Astra Per Aspera, "To the Stars Through Thick and Thin", this spirit defines us. We are a global network of distinguished professionals united by a shared experience and a commitment to excellence.
"Young Soul! - So strong the race to run!"
That rallying cry from our school anthem is our guiding light. It speaks to the energy, determination, and solidarity that define the FOSA 2005 brotherhood and sisterhood. As the newly elected Chairman, I am proud to lead an executive team that is fully committed to translating this spirit into tangible action. Our administration will be driven by a strategic plan built on three core pillars that put our members and our alma mater first:
1. Strengthening Our Bonds (Member Growth and Digital Activation): Our strength lies in our numbers and our engagement and , we aim to grow our active paying membership by 40% and deepen the ties that bind us across the world.
2. Championing Our Own (Welfare & Member Value): The heart of FOSA 2005 is our commitment to mutual support, that is to provide financial and moral assistance to members in times of need (illness, bereavement, or emergency) and to support FOSA 2005 business owners and entrepreneurs.
3. Giving Back to Our Foundation (Brand and School Integration): Our journey began at Fijai SHS, and it is our duty and privilege to give back. This administration is committed to impactful give-back initiatives, including adopting brilliant but needy students, organising mentorship and training days for current students, and donating essential equipment to support their development.
The journey to the stars is never easy, but together, we are strong enough for the race. Let us build a legacy of unity, support, and excellence that will inspire generations of Young Souls to come.
Welcome home!

During my tenure as a house prefect, I gained a deep understanding of responsibility, teamwork, and leadership. Reflecting on this experience, I am filled with immense gratitude for the incredible opportunity to serve and lead—a privilege I hold in the highest regard. Among the many highlights of my time in office was collaborating on the composition of the Dadzie House Anthem, which continues to resonate as a legacy. Additionally, my contributions to poetry and scriptwriting for the school gazette remain unforgettable milestones of personal growth and creativity.
Long live FIJAI! Long live FOSA!
To the skies, through thick and thin!
